Andrea & Dorothy’s wedding at Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo was a beautiful day, despite the unexpected August rain. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Snohomish County with scenic views and a stunning reception space with floor-to-ceiling windows, Rosehill might be the perfect venue for you. Rosehill Community Center is 30 minutes north of Seattle and just minutes away from Mukilteo Beach & Lighthouse Park. Even on a drizzly wedding day, the lighting indoors was perfect. Thankfully the rain let up right in time for their first look and family photos at the Lighthouse!
Last summer, Andrea, Dorothy, & I spent an evening at Mukilteo Beach dreaming about photo spots for their wedding. We got ice cream, twirled around by the lighthouse, and watched the sunset from the ferry. Taking engagement photos in the same place they got married was so special, and it felt so good to be back on their big day.
Their First Look at Lighthouse Park
Their loved ones tearily huddled undercover at one of the historic buildings at the park to watch their first look from afar. The couple surprised their parents with thoughtful gifts during family photos, and later, their extended family and friends all eagerly waited their turn for photos with them and many were so excited they had to hug them first before having their photo taken. It was so clear how dearly these two are loved. There wasn’t a dry eye during their ceremony either & the energy on the dance floor was so fun the whole night. I’ll never get over how lucky I am to witness so many little moments like these😭
