Nona & Nick’s Elopement

December 13th, 2023

Nona & Nick celebrated their 13th anniversary by getting married on December 13th. How perfect to get married on their golden anniversary! Their intimate elopement was at an iconic Bellingham spot — Babygreens in Fairhaven. Babygreens is a gorgeous plant shop in a historic building — with exposed brick walls and beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows looking out into the bustling Fairhaven streets. Their immediate family was present for the ceremony & while we took portraits, their family was able to walk down the street to grab a drink :)

details

The items included for the details flat lay included sentimental items collected over their 13-year-long relationship: old letters, special necklaces Nick gifted Nona early on, polaroids from over the years, & a stuffed animal that has been well-loved, especially by their dogs. Nona’s ring was her mom’s & a local flower shop made the bouquet, and even a Monstera leaf was included to match their venue. Every detail was so intentional and special. And can we take a moment to appreciate Nona’s sparkly dress?!
