Storrie & Trent got engaged last summer, and we had so much fun frolicking around Mount Baker Theatre to celebrate their love. It felt like they were straight out of a movie and we were living in a sweet old film. The two danced around, shared popcorn, and giggled their hearts out in the foyer to end the shoot. It was the most perfect day.

Getting ready

Joey from Skagit Bridal Hair & Makeup is one of my very favorites. She is full of good vibes & enthusiasm and always does STUNNING work. I’ve worked with her on a bunch of shoots & weddings and she always just gets the vision. She’s a superstar & I’m so lucky to know her.

The theatre

Mount Baker Theatre was built in 1927 and is one of the many historic buildings in Bellingham. Josh & I live in a 100 year old apartment downtown (we love vintage and antique things) and we spend a lot of time walking to all our favorite spots together. One day we were walking past the Theatre and saw the sign, “Get Married at Mount Baker Theatre!” on the marquee. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The inside of the Theatre is stunning. The intricate details on the columns on the second floor, the gorgeous light fixture above the Theatre seats, and all the gorgeous warm lights in the lobby — it’s just perfect.

A moment of appreciation for these flowers!! Olivia from Floravore is the absolute sweetest. Like are you kidding!! She selected local, in-season blooms that matched the colors of the Theatre so well. Timeless & petite & absolutely perfect.
